Illuminating Hope: Deep Solar Ghana’s Gift to Young Warriors
At Deep Solar Ghana, we believe in more than just providing sustainable energy solutions; we are committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most. Recently, we had the profound honor of donating and installing a 6KW off-grid solar system to the Rebecca Akufo-Addo Sunshine Hostel for Children with Cancer at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. 
A Beacon During Dark Times
The Sunshine Hostel serves as a sanctuary for children battling cancer, offering them a place of comfort and care during their arduous chemotherapy treatments. However, frequent power outages in Ghana have posed significant challenges, disrupting essential services and adding to the burdens these young patients and their families face. Our donation aims to alleviate these challenges by ensuring an uninterrupted power supply for the hostel. 
The Heart of the System
Our comprehensive solar setup includes:
• Multiple 660W monocrystalline panels to harness maximum solar energy.
• Two 5KWH lithium-ion phosphate batteries for efficient energy storage.
• A 6KW hybrid inverter to seamlessly manage power distribution.
This system ensures that essential devices such as fans, lights, and medical equipment remain operational, even during power outages. Beyond providing reliable electricity, the solar installation significantly reduces the hostel’s energy expenses, allowing more resources to be directed towards patient care.

For children undergoing chemotherapy, maintaining a comfortable environment is crucial. The consistent power supply ensures that the hostel remains a haven of comfort, where young patients can focus on their recovery without the added stress of power interruptions. The smiles and gratitude from the children and their families have deeply touched our hearts and reinforced our commitment to community support.
