Our Story

The Mission Statement of Vision 2050 Forestry is to sustain the earth, diversity, and productivity of the forests and grasslands to meet the environmental and wealth needs of present and future generations.

Vision 2050 Forestry 's mission is in line with UN's Sustaining Development Goals.

Vision 2050 Forestry's focus particularly on the following goals in regards of its mission above: Goal 2 End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture. Goal 13 - Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts. Goal 15 - Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss. Vision 2050 Forestry engages Forest Resource Managers (FRMs) aka Farmers in Eight Hundred and Fifty (850) communities in eight (8) regions of Ghana to plant and maintain VTF-distributed timber seedlings and trees on its behalf, through an arrangement which is underpinned by a twenty year agreement to compensate the FRMs for their hard work.

The above arrangement has given birth to the ownership of Two Hundred (200) million timber trees, 30% of which VTF intends to thin-out, process and sell from 2020-2030 to interested timber merchants and continue to support our Afforestation/Reforestation (A/R) Planting of 1 billion trees & Agriculture Projects (AGR).
