Joshob Construction Company is looking to engage an energetic Geodetic Engineer.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake the following activities;

Job Description for Geodetic Engineer

The incumbent shall be responsible for surveying by making exact measurements and providing relevant data.

A. Direct or conduct demarcation of road network and setting out of all concrete works to be constructed.

B. Conduct the setting out of works including positions and levels of all work items.

C. Provide sufficient and accurate data to complete accurate earthwork quantities.

D. Develop criteria for survey methods and procedures.

E. Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations and other geodetic measurements. Train assistants and helpers, and direct their work in such activities as performing surveys.

F. Any other responsibilities assigned by the project manager and the technical lead.

Job Specification
a. BSc in Geodetic Engineering
b. Over 5 yrs experience in the construction industry especially road sector.
c. Demonstrated ability to use survey instruments
