Puzuri Group of Companies Partners with BioAquaGarden for Innovative Agricultural Solutions in Ghana.

We are thrilled to announce that on May 21, 2024, Puzuri Group of Companies Limited signed a preliminary agreement with BioAquaGarden Ltd. to bring their innovative Combined Greenhouse and Bio Aqua Garden systems to Ghana. This partnership aims to grow veggies, fruits, and fish, promoting sustainable agriculture and addressing food security challenges.

BioAquaGarden Ltd., based in Malta, is a pioneer in integrating aquaculture and hydroponics to create self-sustaining, space-efficient agricultural systems. Their expertise will help us implement cutting-edge agritech solutions that are both water and energy-efficient.

Mr. Alexsandar Sakota, Director of BioAquaGarden, emphasized the transformative potential of these systems in solving water, energy, and food security issues. Our Executive Director expressed excitement about the positive impact on youth training under the NSS-Puzuri partnership, envisioning a revival of backyard farming in urban areas.

This collaboration aligns with key SDGs, including Zero Hunger, No Poverty, Responsible Consumption and Production, and Climate Action, supporting our vision of advancing agriculture and empowering communities.

Puzuri Group of Companies Limited has entered into a strategic partnership with the National Service Scheme (NSS) to drive greenhouse farming activities with a substantial impact on training and grooming over 5,000 youth personnel in agricultural practices.

At the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing yesterday at the Scheme's headquarters in Accra, Our Executive Director, Abdul-Rahaman Yahaya, stressed that it was a significant move towards advancing agricultural productivity and youth employment.

He said the partnership aims to deploy and develop national service personnel(NSP) within the agricultural sector under the framework of Harnessing Agricultural Productivity and Prosperity for Youth (HAPPY) programme.

This he indicated would contribute to unlocking agricultural enterprise opportunities in production, mechanization services, processing, e-commerce, Agri-journalism, Agric-influencers, agripreneurship, and youth led digital technologies for young Ghanaians.
