Ce projet de villa R+1 s’inscrit dans une démarche de réinterprétation contemporaine de l’architecture sahélienne, inspirée des maisons traditionnelles de Tombouctou et de la mosquée de Djenné 🇲🇱🇲🇱.
L’approche adoptée ne vise pas la reproduction formelle, mais la traduction des principes fondamentaux de cette architecture :
🔸massivité et ancrage au sol;
🔸rythme structurel lisible;
🔸 façades filtrantes; protégeant du soleil;
🔸 matérialité et teintes inspirées de la terre
La façade est pensée comme une peau architecturale active, filtrant la lumière, favorisant la ventilation naturelle et créant des jeux d’ombre, tout en affirmant une identité contemporaine forte.
Ce projet illustre une architecture contextuelle, climatique et culturelle, à la croisée de l’héritage local🇲🇱 et des exigences du mode de vie actuel.

This R+1 villa project explores a contemporary reinterpretation of Sahelian architecture, inspired by the traditional houses of Timbuktu and the Great Mosque of Djenné🇲🇱🇲🇱.
Rather than replicating historical forms, the design translates the core principles of this architecture:
🔸 solidity and grounding
🔸 clear structural rhythm
🔸 filtering façades protecting from the sun
🔸 earth-inspired materials and colors
The façade is conceived as an active architectural skin, filtering daylight, enhancing natural ventilation, and creating shadow patterns, while expressing a strong contemporary identity.
This project reflects a contextual, climate-responsive and culturally rooted architecture, bridging local heritage🇲🇱 with modern living requirements.
