«The idea of the undulating stone wall was so compelling that it was worth exploring further. In this project, the curves flow inward, and connect with the natural stone boundaries of the plot, which really reinforced the overall concept.»

Rhoēs is a villa complex featuring a 300 m² main house and a 90 m² guesthouse, seamlessly integrated into the rugged, dramatic landscape. The plot, characterized by steep slopes and wild, thorny bushes, provides a stunning backdrop for this harmonious blend of Cycladic charm and modern design.

Rhoēs, is a finalist for the ongoing Archello Unbuilt Housing Project of the Year Award 2025.

Feeling soooooo proud that we got this far.
First there where a few hundred entries….
After the first selection the jury shrunk the group down to 71 entries (Long list)
Now our project is one of 5 international finalists. Can you believe it?

Fingers crossed everybody!!!

Construction underway 🚧

A subterranean house fitted under the earth. After completion of the structure the house will be completely covered by dirt. And the landscape will be brought to its original state.

The excavation depth is daunting. But it will all be worthwhile in the end.

Our new pet project.

Ofis is a Greek word for snake. Why so? It will become more obvious as you swipe left for more images.

«Ofis” is an architectural project set on a dramatic and picturesque piece of land, offering stunning panoramic views amidst rugged cliffs and steep terrain. However, its northern exposure presents a challenge due to the powerful winds. The client’s primary request was for a sheltered courtyard with a pool, allowing the family to enjoy the outdoors despite these harsh winds. The design solution involves a building that surrounds the courtyard, protecting it, while simultaneously being visible from every room of the house.
