of the project, either for a traditional settlement, an urban, natural or archaeological landscape, for a new building or the interior design, the architectural design of AD+Architects is based on a personal aesthetic which has been shaped through different levels of knowledge and experience, on the human-centered approach, on the lasting human needs, on the harmonization of the built and the natural environment, on the respect to the Greek space and its needs. The best possible living of the human being in the space, the simple, lasting, identifiable geometry, the primary constructive simplicity and the continuity of the materials and the alignments in all scales, the mild transition from the nature to the built item, the studied utilization of mild lighting as an element necessary for living during the night hours, constitute the principles of AD+Architects’ philosophy. The same philosophy and aesthetic are better expressed with the use of the hand itself on the paper, as the basic, more direct and more personal means of expressing the architectural creation.
