We are proud to share that our project LOFOS _ PAROS is a Nominee for The European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture, Mies van der Rohe, Awards 2026

Set in our beloved Paros, the project embodies our continuous dialogue with the Cycladic landscape — a place where architecture must coexist with nature and the clarity of light. The design emerges from the natural contours of the terrain, horizon, and vegetation into a quiet architectural language that honors the island’s topography and heritage.

A continuous pathway traces the slope, guiding movement from the land to the rooftop and back down into the protected courtyards. This seamless connection between earth and architecture invites visitors to experience the house as an unfolding journey — one that reveals shifting perspectives of the Aegean and a constant interplay between landscape and dwelling. By embedding the built form within the hill and using local materials and craftsmanship, the project becomes both terrain and habitation — an architecture of balance, and belonging.

Our Project cover of the new Paros Villas vol.4 ek magazine
In Cave _ Agairia
This project blends architecture with the landscape through planted roofs, local vegetation, and flowing forms. Interior spaces and courtyards offer natural light, ventilation, and privacy, while pathways unfold the terrain gradually. The white ribbon design becomes a unifying element—part of the land, not imposed on it.

Είμαστε ιδιαίτερα χαρούμενοι για την επιλογή του έργου LofoS (Πάρος) να εκπροσωπήσει την Ελλάδα στα Ευρωπαϊκά Βραβεία Σύγχρονης Αρχιτεκτονικής – Mies van der Rohe 2026 ανάμεσα σε εξαιρετικούς συναδέλφους.

Θα θέλαμε να ευχαριστήσουμε θερμά τον ΣΑΔΑΣ - ΠΕΑΣΑΔΑΣ – Πανελλήνιο Σύλλογο Αρχιτεκτόνων και την Επιτροπή Επιλογής για την εμπιστοσύνη τους στο έργο μας για δευτερη συνεχόμενη φορά .

Πάνω απ’ όλα, αισθανόμαστε βαθιά ευγνωμοσύνη απέναντι στον ιερό κυκλαδικό τόπο της Πάρου, που μας έδωσε τον χώρο και την έμπνευση και την δυαντότητα να υλοποιήσουμε αρχιτεκτονική . Ελπίζουμε να σταθήκαμε αντάξιοι της μοναδικότητάς του.

We are honored to announce that our project LofoS (Paros) has been selected to represent Greece in the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award 2026, among a group of distinguished colleagues.

We warmly thank the Association of Greek Architects (SADAS) and the Selection Committee for their trust in our work_for the second time in a row.

Above all, we are deeply grateful to the sacred Cycladic landscape of Paros, which offered us the space and inspiration to create. We hope to be worthy of its unique character.

This cliffside Paros residence uses simple modern forms and parallel stone walls to focus on the Aegean panorama.

Inside and out, local stone, white plaster, and wood unite with reed pergolas and pools to create a harmonious coastal escape.
