On Christmas Eve we had to suddenly, and unexpectedly, say goodbye to our beloved family dog, Lucy.

She was such a gentle dog and part of so many beautiful memories during a time when our three boys have grown up to become young men.

Lucy, may you forever keep rolling in muddy puddles and keep chasing squirrels 🐿️

A proper day this. Up nice and early to get the ferry across to Ithaca which didn’t disappoint. If you are ever fortunate enough to travel to Kefalonia, do visit this amazing island. The town of Vathy is great, but the highlights have to be the villages of Stavros, Frikes, Kioni and Anogi.

Just returned from a week in the Algarve where and I were so lucky to enjoy some sun/warmth.

Look away now if you don’t like pictures of the sea and coastlines! It was our first time in this part of Portugal and it didn’t disappoint.

Thank you and 🇵🇹. We feel rested and ready to hit the rest of the year.
