As landscape architects we have to consider many factors when designing. The main aspect when designing as a landscape architect is ECOLOGY and that includes the interaction between people and the natural environment. We always try to make space for “some nature” in the most manmade environments.
In the photos there are some examples of Mediterranean plantation only 6-12 months after the installation of the plants.

Ανάπλαση πάρκου 15.000τ.μ. σε νησί της Ελλάδας.
Αρχιτεκτονική Προμελέτη

Η κεντρική ιδέα στηρίζεται σε τρεις βασικούς άξονες:
1. Σχεδιαστικά στη σύνδεση του πάρκου με τα γειτνιάζοντα κτίρια και τον υφιστάμενο Δημοτικό Κήπο.
2. Περιβαλλοντικά επιλέγοντας βιώσιμες λύσεις όπως τη διαχείριση ομβρίων υδάτων και τη δημιουργία μικροκλίματος.
3. Τη συμπεριληπτικότητα δημιουργώντας συνθήκες για να μπορούν να συνυπάρχουν όλοι, ανεξαρτήτως ηλικίας, κοινωνικο-οικονομικής θέσης και δεξιοτήτων.

Κατατέθηκε η οριστική μελέτη ανάπλασης περιβάλλοντος χώρου πάρκου 55.000τ.μ. σε πόλη της κεντρικής Ελλάδας.
Ο σχεδιασμός βασίστηκε στην συμπεριληπτικότητα και στη δημιουργία τοπόσημου στους ψηφιακούς χάρτες (google maps) έτσι ώστε να προσελκύει και επισκέπτες της ευρύτερης περιοχής.
Στην κάτοψη το άνθος που σχηματίζεται στο κέντρο «τραβάει» τους επισκέπτες στο εσωτερικό του πάρκου από την προέκταση των πετάλων του.
Περιμετρικά σχεδιάστηκαν διαδρομές 1.000μ. για περπάτημα, τρέξιμο και ποδήλατο. Σε όλη την έκταση του πάρκου εκτός από καθιστικά και χώρους χαλάρωσης σχεδιάστηκαν και δραστηριότητες που παρακινούν τους επισκέπτες να τις δοκιμάσουν.

It doesn't make sence yet, but I am working on it !
Landscape Architecture is like giving purpose to a painting.
The word "purpose" has a very wide meaning such us ecology, sustainabilyty, inclusivity, empathy in the design.
