Vaia Gkerlioti is an architect with Master Degree in Advanced Design:Innovation and Transdisciplinarity in Architectural Spaces AD:ITAD at AUTH in Greece. She creates parametric design systems in new 3D Printing technology materials of construction for the scale of buildings to human body with invitations of participation in 3D Printing Shows worldwide. She is Winner (25 selected among 400 innovat

ive Start Up Companies) of the Egg competition that took place during Disrupt StartUP on November 2015 at Megaron Athens International Conference Centre. She was judge-commentator at the University of Central Saint Martins University of Fashion and Design in London for student work. She worked as an architect /computational designer in Robofold Robotic Fabrication studio in London. She worked in Paris [AY]Astudio on designing pieces of clothes, developing digital patterns and textiles with prototyping techniques. She was tutor assistant in several workshops in Paris. London, Rome and Athens. Also as a member of Sarcha group was shortlisted in the 'Resourceful Architect Day of Ideas' by the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) and The Architectural Foundation. Her work has been published in Architectural Jiurnal magazine and other web and print media.
