Press release and invitation to the international workshop
“Ancillary services in active distribution networks, based on monitoring and control techniques”.

The workshop will take place on Friday 19/05/2023 at amphitheatre A3, Building A, Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, DUTh, Kimmeria Campus, Xanthi.

In the workshop the main findings of ACTIVATE will be presented and discussed along with key note speaker talks.

We believe that the topics of the workshop are of particular interest to you and we hope to meet you on 19/05/2023 and discuss the next steps in the new energy environment.

I am delighted to announce that our paper "Assessing the Provision of Ancillary Services Considering BES Capacity Degradation" presented in SEST Conference 2022, was awarded as one of the three best papers! Congratulations to Kalliopi Pippi, Georgios Kryonidis and Angelos Nousdilis for their great work!
This work was done in the frame of our ACTIVATE project funded by ELIDEK!
