AC Concrete Rebuild and Installation.

Previous owners had renovated the apartment but made some illegal alterations. The unlucky new owners had to move the AC compressor back to the AC port in the building wall (which had been demolished).

We rebuilt the port and had a split window type AC installed (A split AC with a compressor designed to fit into a window-type space)

Job nailed!

This AC leaked badly totally destroying the carpentry work that enclosed the piping as well as wrecking the plaster on much of the wall surrounding it.

We demolished it all, re-did the pipework, built new 'cabinetry' to house the piping and returned everything to be good as new.

Bathroom with insufficient ventilation causing damp:

The building designed exhaust fan was not fast enough to evacuate steamy air, leading to excessive condensation. So we installed a 2nd extractor fan in the ceiling with a complex series of ducting that had to be routed through 2 rooms and exited out of the kitchen wall.

Seeing as we were working in the kitchen ceiling already, we also replaced the old oil-caked & damaged foil ducting for their extractor hood, replacing it with much more sturdy aluminium tubing.

The new extractor was wired into the lighting circuit to ensure it was always on when the shower was being used (Making sure the kids couldn't 'forget' 😉)

Bathroom floor with heavily textured old & ugly tiles:

After grinding down the old tiles (Not pictured - we couldn't bear to look at them a moment longer😆), we used a self leveling cement render to give a flat smooth surface and excellent base for the battleship grey epoxy floor layers.

The end result is a very smooth, shiny (But also high friction), hard-wearing and waterproof floor . . . That looks way better than the rest of the old tired bathroom (One stage at a time folks! 😉)
