【LSCM向來自拉丁美洲的PortLeaders業界代表介紹「港口社區系統」(PCS)】
早前，運輸及物流局聯同LSCM歡迎來自墨西哥、阿根廷及哥倫比亞的 PortLeaders業界代表參觀PCS控制中心。活動由運輸及物流局署理副秘書長詹錦秋先生致歡迎辭，強調特區政府致力推動智慧港口發展，並期望藉此深化與拉丁美洲港口業界的交流與合作。隨後，LSCM行政總裁黃廣揚先生向一眾嘉賓介紹「港口社區系統」(PCS) 的最新發展； LSCM特殊項目總監倫婉霞博士亦詳細講解PCS的日常運作及實時貨物追蹤功能，展示系統如何提升供應鏈與港口物流的端對端可視性，並應用區塊鏈技術保障數據安全。
嘉賓們亦與LSCM團隊及運輸及物流局代表就智慧港口發展、業界數碼轉型、物流服務、貿易便利化等議題交流意見，共同探討全球物流面對的挑戰及機遇。
【LSCM Introduced the "Port Community System" (PCS) to Industry Representatives of PortLeaders from Latin America】
The Transport and Logistics Bureau (TLB), together with LSCM, welcomed the industry representatives of PortLeaders from Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia who visited the PCS Control Centre earlier. Mr Jeffrey CHIM, Acting Deputy Secretary for Transport and Logistics, delivered welcome remarks to kick off the visit, highlighting the HKSAR Government’s commitment to advancing smart port development and fostering exchanges with port partners in Latin America. Following the opening, Mr Simon WONG, Chief Executive Officer of LSCM, introduced the latest development of the "Port Community System" (PCS) to the guests. Dr Venus LUN, Special Project Director of LSCM, further highlighted the system’s daily operations and real-time cargo tracking capabilities, which enhance end-to-end visibility across supply chains and port logistics while leveraging blockchain technology to ensure secure data transmission.
The guests also exchanged insights with the LSCM team and representatives from the TLB on smart port development, digital transformation of the industry, logistics services, and trade facilitation, while exploring emerging challenges and opportunities in global logistics.
