手機墜地或碰撞硬物，屏幕隨時應聲碎裂，而日常使用時屏幕亦免不了刮花，香港浸會大學物理系講座教授謝國偉去年成功研發新納米物料「鐵甲玻璃」，玻璃特性超硬、強韌及抗刮，可應用於製造手機屏幕，達到抗跌抗刮花效果。有關發明周五（15日）在瑞士日內瓦國際發明展內，在1000個發明中脫穎而出，獲得最高榮譽大獎，主辨單位讚揚發明能為屏幕提供最佳保護。
