Progressio ICS Honduras

Progressio ICS Honduras We are currently volunteering with Progressio ICS in Honduras. We are working in Educational Projects within the local communities of Villa de San Antonio.

This page contains information about the two Progressio ICS projects based in the communities of La Esperanza and Yamaranguila, Honduras. Stay updated with stories and photos about the work of both UK and Honduran volunteers involved in environmental sustainability & drug prevention schemes. In Catacamas the team are working in conjunction with PREDISAN, a health organisation from the USA. PREDIS

AN do amazing work all over Honduras, however the team's primary focus is on drug prevention, good study habits, confidence and self esteem within local schools. Also the team will be taking part in the construction of a 1km running track at CEREPA. In Gracias, the project is focused on reducing the effects of climate change and building resilience in the community towards natural disasters. The partner organization is RED COMAL, a network of small producers around Honduras working to promote local products and assist its members in finding markets for their products.
