Last week, we had the privilege of supporting the Faculty of Engineering in Rijeka by digitally capturing their boats with the brand‑new SHINING 3D EinScan Rigil.
This cutting‑edge scanning technology allowed us to achieve highly precise and detailed 3D data, opening new possibilities for research, development, and innovation.

Our Scanner of the Week:
The Shining 3D Freescan Combo+

The FreeScan Combo+ features 50 blue laser lines, making it almost twice as fast as its sibling. It can capture up to 3.6 million points per second, while the standard FreeScan Combo, with its 26-line scan mode, captures 1.86 million points per second.

The FreeScan Combo+, with its compact dimensions of 193 x 63 x 53 mm and a weight of just 620 g, features two light sources: a blue laser and an infrared VCSEL.

Accuracy is up to 0.02 mm.

The Shining 3D FreeScan series consists of professional industrial metrology 3D scanners for mechanical engineering, automotive, aerospace, aviation, shipping, and much more.

The 3D scanners in the FreeScan series are tested by an ISO 17025-certified laboratory.
