What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain gardens using regenerative principles
- Work on projects that include planting native species, revitalizing soil, and introducing sustainable landscaping practices
- Collaborate with our team to plan and execute projects tailored to the unique needs of each client

Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience: You have some background in gardening or landscaping (eco-friendly practices are a plus!).
- Skills: profficient in using gardening tools and machinery (but don’t worry, that is easiest to teach).
- Attitude: You’re independent, responsible, diligent and motivated to make an impact.
- Passion for Nature: You love the outdoors and have an eye for aesthetics, plus an open mind
- Language: Many of our clients are international, so English proficiency is appreciated.
- Driver's licence

Sustainably grown plants

Last week we spent a day in Pistoia, the nursery capital of the Mediterranean.

For more than 150 years, families here have dedicated their lives to growing some of the finest trees and plants in Europe. Entire landscapes around the world begin in these fields.
At Gorini Piante, Natalija walked us through rows of Japanese maples, sculptural specimen trees, Mediterranean plants, conifers and rare varieties, sharing the story of a third-generation nursery rooted deeply in this remarkable tradition.

Later we visited Innocenti & Mangoni Piante, the largest nursery in the region, where Francesco generously hosted us despite our unannounced arrival.
What was meant to be a quick visit became four hours exploring more than 350 hectares of nurseries, talking about plants, landscapes and the craft of growing them well.

But what impressed us most wasn’t the scale, but the values visible and felt at every step.
Respect for the land, deep knowledge passed through generations.
And a serious commitment to sustainable growing; from water recovery systems, localized irrigation to renewable energy, natural mulching and fully recyclable pots.
It’s rare to find growers whose philosophy aligns so closely with our own.
Also businesses at this scale who kept the feeling of craft and family.

For a regenerative landscaping studio like ours, working with people who care for the land this deeply is a true privilege.
From now on, some of the finest plants grown in Pistoia will find their home in your gardens.

We were so immersed in the experience that we forgot to take proper photos.
But, you’ll be able to take them in your garden.

Soil letters

Healthy soil isn’t built in a bag; it’s built through biology.
Microbes, fungi, roots, worms, and organic matter create natural fertility that no synthetic product can match. When we feed the soil ecosystem, instead of forcing growth, plants thrive, water is stored, carbon is sequestred and landscapes become resilient on their own.
The analogy to humans is not accidental.

Nestled within a Mediterranean forest and right on the seafront of Maslinica Bay, this villa embodies a seamless dialogue between architecture and nature. The blurred boundary between landscape and stone defines its character — a luxurious natural retreat where indoor and outdoor experiences merge effortlessly.

Designed as an intimate gateway to nature, the villa’s landscape concept creates a sequence of garden rooms, each offering a unique sensory experience inspired by the client’s desires.
A cooking garden brims with aromatic herbs and fruit trees, inviting culinary exploration. The Mediterranean wellness forest offers a private, wild sanctuary with a cold plunge, firepit, and relaxation zones filled with authentic regional scents. A scented walkway, rich with resinous, warm floral, and herbaceous notes, gently leads from the infinity pool down to the beach.

Inside the villa, a glazed atrium reveals a striking natural rock formation, bringing the raw texture of the landscape directly into the living room. Bathed in daylight, the stone becomes a living sculpture — a reminder of the site’s geological identity and an ever-present connection to the earth. The rock extends into the interior, surrounded by lush greenery that infuses the space with texture, fragrance, and vitality — completing the dialogue between architecture, landscape, and the living environment.

Song for Autumn

Don't you imagine the leaves dream now
How comfortable it will be to touch the earth
instead of the nothingness of the air and the endless freshets of wind?
And don't you think the trees, especially those with mossy hollows, are beginning to look for the birds that will come - six, a dozen - to sleep inside their bodies?

And don't you hear the goldenrod whispering goodbye,
the everlasting being crowned with the first tuffets of snow?
The pond stiffens and the white field over which the fox runs so quickly brings out its long blue shadows.
The wind wags its many tails.
And in the evening the piled firewood shifts a little, longing to be on its way.

Meet Ciaran
Young, strong guy, super polite and observant with great communication skills.
Grateful, committed, brave, fun, always wears a smile and brings joy.
Not an average definitely!
Today he did 1 hour of physical tests to prove he wants to commit to the journey with Soil.
Today he performed, outperformed!
Last two months he trained for that, outside of his working hours, no matter what.
Nothing stopped him, and he could use a lot of excuses.
What to say!
Welcome Ciaran, you are committed to impact and excellence, thank you for contributing and for joining us.
When we hired him, he barely knew difference between lavender and rosemary, but today he calls plants with Latin names.
2 months only.
In the meantime he planted 100+ plants, installed 100 m of irrigation, mulched more than 500 m² with organic mulch.
He showed up when it was tough, worked his ass off and proved he really wants to contribute to this community, soil, planet.
It’s not words, it’s his commitment and daily impact proving that.
