MÜSZI, 2016. május 27-29. A ROM az AVnode nemzetközi hálózat tagja. ROM will enter its first edition in May 2016 as a project by MÜSZI.

A Riders on the Mall (ROM) különleges audiovizuális művészeti- és kísérleti technológiai seregszemle, mely egy hétvégére Budapestre, a Corvin áruház 3. emeletére invitálja a hazai és külföldi VJ-k, pixellovagok, vizuális- és hangművészek színe-javát, és a kortárs audiovizuális trendek iránt érdeklődő közönséget. Beavatottakat és ifjoncokat, technológiát kutatókat és használókat egyaránt vár az ele

ktronikus hangfény-környezet, melyet a résztvevők alakíthatnak. A három napos eseménysorozat alatt kiderül többek között, hogyan lehet tablettel vjzni, szívveréssel audiovizuális tartalmat vezérelni, vagy átváltoztatni egy épülethomlokzatot néhány digitális varázsütéssel. A Művelődési Szint (Müszi) által szervezett fesztivál a kortárs művészet és technológia egyre táguló horizontjain végez jövőkutatást. A ROM azon határterületeken egyensúlyoz, ahol a művészet és tudomány találkozik, a performativitás és vizualitás kapcsolódik, a különféle gondolkodásmódok szinesztéziát hoznak létre: ahol a felhasználó egyben alkotó. A 2016 májusában debütáló fesztiválon a nappali órákban installációk, interdiszciplináris előadások, alkotói bemutatkozások, workshopok, majd az esték folyamán live actek, tört, majd egész ritmusos partival egybekötött vjamboree várja az érdeklődőket - ahány program csak a Corvin Áruház egykori híradástechnikai osztályán elfér. Az AVnode célja az audiovizuális művészetek nemzetközi kapcsolatainak, közönségbázisának építése, audiovizuális alkotások terjesztése, népszerűsítése. 2015-ben 13 különböző országból származó tagszervezet közös projektjeként indult, melynek keretében a következő években folyamatosan bővülő platform és adatbázis jön létre. Riders on the Mall (ROM) is a unique gathering of audiovisual jockeys, ranging from virgin riders to experienced charioteers, from experts in New Media Art to audiences interested in audiovisual and technological trends. ROM deliberately puts emphasis on visuality within the current art scene, scanning the audiovisual landscape in Hungary and abroad for fresh threads, merging it into a panorama of what-comes-next. ROM #1's line up will consist of an exhibition with focus on art & tech installations, workshops, a VJ’amboree, audiovisual live acts, and thematical presentations and discussions with interdisciplinary focus. We welcome people from all walks of life, especially youngsters who
want to look beyond their comfort zone, experiment and widen their vocabulary of contemporary visual culture. ROM is part of the cultural cooperation LPM 2015 > 2018 realized within the international audiovisual network AVnode, with the contribution of the

A posztkapitalista gazdaság és a decentralizált mindenség nagykövete, az enigmatikus Anders Aamodt tiszteletét teszi Budapesten. A filozófia és a technológia külső határain mozgó varázsló nevéhez több ambiciózus projekt kapcsolódik: a decentralizált, konszenzusos döntéshozatalon alapuló alternatív-internet, a Holochain.org, a Láthatlan Kollégiumok Koalíciója ami egy világszerte kibontakozó peer-to-peer anarchista összeesküvő platform, vagy például az Internet School of Magic, ami sámánisztikus öngyógyítást és alkímiát tanít a résztvevőknek.
A ROM keretében a Xenogaming Industries projektjét mutatja be. A Xenogaming olyan társadalmi tömegjáték, ami a kapitalista szubjektivitás helyett autonóm, szabad, posztkapitalista létmódok kísérleti kialakítását teszi lehetővé.

The ambassador of postcapitalist economy and decentralized everything, the enigmatic Anders Aamodt will present his work in Budapest. Moving on the outer limits of both philosophy and technology, Anders is running some very ambitious projects: he's building a decentralized, consensus-decision based alternative internet called Holochain: he is tied to the Coalition of Invisible Colleges, a world wide peer-to-peer anarchist conspiracy platform, and things such as the Internet School of Magic which teaches shamanistic and alchemical ways of self-healing to participants.

Within the ROM program he is presenting the project Xenogaming Industries, a massive form of play that aims to replace capitalist subjectivity with autonomous, free ways of postcapitlistic ways of living in an experimental form.
