Every model maker has their own distinctive style… It can be seen in the choice of materials, the use of colours, the technical solutions, or simply in the way the finest details are crafted. That’s only natural, because every model is more than just a piece of work – it reflects a small part of the way its creator sees the world! 🙏
This becomes especially interesting when the models are no longer created solely by the founder, but by an ever-growing team of talented colleagues working together. One of the greatest challenges is preserving the style and philosophy that the company has developed over many years, while allowing every project to benefit from the creativity of the people behind it.
Perhaps this is what I am most proud of at Limes. 👏 We have outstanding colleagues – or rather, individual creators – who produce remarkable work month after month, while sharing the same commitment to quality and the same way of thinking! On one workbench, a little jewel such as the Petit Bois Hotel model is taking shape, while on another, a completely different project is already in progress – one that we'll be revealing next week.
To conclude our Petit Bois series, we'd like to show you some of the tiny details we paid attention to. The trees were individually crafted based on on-site surveys and photographic documentation. 🌳 The outdoor furniture was positioned exactly as we found it during our site visit, and even the colour of the planters and the iconic telescope have been faithfully recreated, just as the hotel's guests see them in real life.
For us, details are never secondary. They are what truly bring a model to life! It's no coincidence that we've been signing off many of our projects with the same phrase for years: Just like the real thing, only smaller. 😊

Minden makettkészítőnek megvannak a saját stílusjegyei. Ezek megmutatkozhatnak az anyaghasználatban, a színekben, a technikai megoldásokban vagy éppen a részletek kidolgozásában. Ez teljesen természetes, hiszen egy-egy ilyen alkotás nem csupán munka, hanem egy kis darab abból is, ahogyan a készítője a világról gondolkodik. 🙏 Ez különösen izgalmassá válik, amikor már nem az alapító készíti a maketteket, hanem egyre több tehetséges kolléga alkot együtt egy csapatban. Ilyenkor az egyik legnagyobb kihívás az, hogy a cég hosszú évek alatt kialakult stílusa és szemlélete tovább éljen minden elkészült munkában.
Talán erre vagyok a legbüszkébb a Limesben. 👏 Olyan kiváló kollégák – sőt, inkább egyéni alkotók – dolgoznak együtt, akik hónapról hónapra rendkívüli munkákat hoznak létre, mégis ugyanazt a minőséget és szemléletet képviselik.Az egyik asztalon egy olyan kis ékszerdoboz készül, mint a Petit Bois Hotel makettje, a másikon pedig már egy egészen más projekt, amelyet a jövő héten mutatunk be.
A Petit Bois projekt zárásaként még szeretnénk megmutatni, milyen apró részletekre fordítottunk figyelmet. A fák a helyszíni felmérések és fotódokumentáció alapján egyedileg készültek el. 🌳 A kültéri bútorokat a bejárás során látott állapot szerint helyeztük el, de még a kaspók színe és az ikonikus távcső is ugyanúgy visszaköszön a maketten, ahogyan azt a hotel vendégei a valóságban is láthatják.
Mert számunkra a részletek soha nem mellékesek. Ezek azok, amelyek valóban életre keltik a makettet.Nem véletlen, hogy évek óta ugyanazzal a mondattal búcsúzunk sok munkánktól: Mint az igazi, csak kicsiben. 😊
