Paris was good to us.
Back in August, five of our images reached the finalist stage of the Architizer Vision Awards, and this week three of them came home as winners in the Photorealistic, Artistic and Atmosphere rendering categories, collected by our Chief Creative Officer Márton Tóth at the program’s first-ever live ceremony. The other two kept their finalist spots, a shared bronze we’re every bit as happy with.

One of those was Architectural Visualizer of the Year, and we couldn’t have lost it to better company: congratulations to our fellow Hungarians at ZOA Studio on winning it for the second year running. Following last year’s win, it’s a streak we’re quietly proud of.
Not bad for such a small country.

Since 2020, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside KKAA Kengo Kuma & Associates, and their call still makes our day every single time.
Our latest collaboration is their competition entry for the new Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb, developed together with the Croatian practice Urbane ideje, where a single lightweight canopy stretches beyond the stadium to tie sports, parkland and public space into one continuous landscape.
Capturing the soft, filtered light beneath it was a genuine pleasure, and a reminder of how lucky we are to keep getting asked.

Some projects arrive as a single building. Bay Estate arrived as an entire island community.
Together with our partners at Killa Design and Wyte Architects, we had the pleasure of visualizing this new waterfront destination on Dubai Islands for developers Nakheel, from its lagoon-side villas and landscaped neighbourhoods to the beach club at its heart. With dozens of images produced, consider these five a first glimpse.
There's plenty more where these came from, so stay tuned.

Every so often, reality decides to take our images rather literally.

Some years ago, we created visuals for ATMOSPHERE by Krallerhof, the spa by Hadi Teherani Architects, designed to settle gently into the Alpine landscape rather than compete with it.
Today the finished building, infinity pool, lake, mountains and all, looks remarkably like the place we once pictured.

Watching a project grow from pixels into a real experience never gets old, and this one has done so particularly gracefully.

Some projects challenge "conventional ideas" of what a workplace can be.
For Amazon's HQ2 in Arlington, NBBJ envisioned a striking, nature-infused landmark that combines office space, public accessibility and immersive green landscapes in a single architectural gesture.

We had the pleasure of exploring this vision through a series of images that capture the project's distinctive character from multiple perspectives.

Another Creativepool Annual, another little piece of silverware for the shelf.

This was our third time entering the Annual, and we’re rather happy to say that we’ve managed to pick up a recognition each time. This year, our visuals for Tadao Ando’s Dubai Museum of Art received a Silver in 3D, a particularly nice one to have, considering the company we get to keep at the Creativepool Annual, rubbing shoulders with some of the best names in the UK creative scene.

Huge thanks to Creativepool and the jury for recognising the craft behind the work, and congratulations to all the brilliant people and teams we were lucky enough to share the evening with.

Some projects are rooted in a place; others seem to grow out of it. Together with Storyn Studio, we had the pleasure of creating the visuals for Rum & Ruin, a contemporary Caribbean distillery and cultural destination in St. Thomas, where the architecture draws from the weathered ruins, industrial remnants and tropical landscape of the Virgin Islands.

Built around the idea of an “inhabited ruin”, the project blends production, hospitality and public spaces through heavy stone walls, shaded courtyards, lush planting and open-air terraces.
A particularly atmospheric project to bring to life, balancing the roughness of its material palette with the warmth and vibrancy of its Caribbean setting.

Tomorrow, the D2 family comes together in Budapest once again!

For the second year in a row, our hometown will welcome the D2 community, this time with Brick Visual officially joining D2 as a co-organizer. We’re incredibly happy to welcome old friends, new faces, fellow artists and industry colleagues to our neighbourhood, and to the Budapest Jazz Club, once again hosting the now 13th D2 Conference!

Two packed days are ahead, with a rich schedule of inspiring talks and a wide range of subjects, the very first D2 Awards ceremony, and, of course, all the stories, experiences, thoughts, ideas and laughs that will be shared along the way.
We hope you’ll enjoy the talks, the conversations, the beers, the city, and everything in between. Most of all, we hope you’ll feel right at home here in Budapest.
