The workshop will explore how forests and nature-based resources can be understood not only as sources of raw materials, but also as complex economic spaces providing ecosystem services, innovation potential and new opportunities for sustainable business development.
Building on the findings of the project’s Benchmark Study, the event will address several promising thematic fields, including sustainable forest management and digitalisation, wood-based design and bioeconomy, agroforestry, voluntary carbon markets and biodiversity credits, nature-based solutions, green business models, nature-based education and wellbeing, non-wood forest products, and regenerative tourism.
The workshop will also support a common co-valorisation process, helping participants identify local natural resources, untapped business potentials and promising initiatives that could be further developed through mentoring and cross-sectoral cooperation.
Catalyst organisations, professional stakeholders, universities, chambers, tourism actors, nature conservation organisations, NGOs, entrepreneurs and other relevant business actors are invited to contribute their knowledge, experience and ideas.
