the sanctuary, ubud.
the final stages of a project always carry a different energy.
the noise begins to disappear.
contractors start leaving site.
furniture starts arriving.
protective coverings slowly come off.
and spaces that have existed only in drawings, samples and site meetings begin to feel real.
at sanctuary, ubud, we’re approaching partial handover of the first villas within the development.
after months of construction management, procurement, coordination, problem solving and countless design decisions, the project is beginning to shift from something being built into somewhere ready to be lived in.
there are still details being completed.
artwork waiting to be hung.
styling still to come.
final touches being made room by room.
but the atmosphere is already there.
the warmth of the teak ceilings.
the weight of the paras stone.
the light moving through the double-height spaces.
the quiet moments that ultimately matter more than any individual material.
still evolving.
handover photography coming soon.
