At LLoE Studio, we believe architecture should do more than just house us; it must nurture a better way of living. This modern minimalist residence is conceived as a freestanding sanctuary. By deliberately pulling the structure away from its boundary walls, we allowed the architecture to breathe—ensuring every interior space is bathed in natural light and cooled by continuous cross-ventilation.

Though the footprint is highly compact, the spatial choreography across its four stories is incredibly expansive:
Ground Level: The utilitarian foundation, housing a 2-car garage, home office, maid’s quarters, and a dirty kitchen.
Level 1: The communal heart. An elevated living room, dining area, and clean kitchen designed for familial connection.
Level 2: The private retreat, featuring a master suite with a walk-in closet, alongside two children’s bedrooms.
Rooftop: A wellness crown dedicated to morning yoga and sunrise gazing, cleverly concealing the MEP systems.

Crucially, the architecture embraces inclusivity. A gently sloping ramp weaves into the entrance, ensuring a seamless, dignified transition into the home for elderly family members. A true multi-generational haven.

Three masses, one rhythm.
Set in Pamogan, Bali, the building is gently broken apart allowing light, air, and landscape to flow naturally through and between spaces. Each volume opens itself to its surroundings, creating a living environment that feels porous, calm, and quietly connected to nature.

Corridors are lifted by skylight, gardens slip into the gaps, and every unit is given the privilege of cross-ventilation and soft daylight. The architecture does not impose. It frames, filters, and lets the tropical climate become part of everyday living.

Within its warm terracotta expression, the structure remains intentionally simple, designed for clarity, efficiency, and phased construction. A quiet balance between spatial quality and practical return, where design decisions are both felt and measured.

A philosophy of trust, translated into space.
An intimate sequence where every experience is carefully curated.

Three Omakase rooms, four VIP rooms, a lounge bar, and a rooftop VVIP define a quiet exclusivity—secluded, yet gently connected to the street.

A vertical void links the levels, allowing light and air to flow. Wood and muted stone create a warm, grounded atmosphere.

Gang Bambu Villa

Modern form meets tropical logic. This 3-bedroom villa in Canggu is designed with a clear and efficient plan that preserves the dialogue between interior and exterior.

Layered setbacks and sequential heights articulate the mass, refining its scale despite minimal street-facing openings. The pitched roof is integrated as a passive strategy, managing intense rainfall, reducing heat accumulation, and reinforcing the home’s tropical performance.

Conceived as a vertical landscape, this four-story architectural composition reinterprets the terraced rice fields of Bali into a contemporary hospitality landmark. Restaurant, lounge, and bar are layered in harmonious succession, each tier carefully calibrated to secure equitable views toward the ocean horizon. The stepped geometry transforms agricultural logic into spatial rhythm, fostering both atmosphere and function.

Planters trace the curvature of the façade, allowing vegetation to cascade and soften the urban edge within a lively streetscape. This integration of nature is not decorative, but intrinsic, reinforcing the dialogue between architecture and environment.

A palette of muted warmth, textured stone, natural wood, and earthy tones, anchors the building in a refined tropical sensibility. The result is an enduring architectural expression: grounded in place, modern in form, and timeless in experience.

Villa Kembar
Umalas, Bali

Architecture begins with balance.

This twin-villa composition is conceived as a spatial dialogue, two equal masses calibrated through proportion, climate, and cultural memory. Inspired by Balinese principles of harmony, the design explores the tension between repetition and individuality.

Water anchors the composition, mediating light, airflow, and daily ritual. Brick, stone, and timber are expressed with restraint, allowing texture and shadow to define the atmosphere rather than ornament.

Here, modern tropical architecture is not stylistic.
It is contextual, elemental, and quietly enduring.

Inspired by Bali’s terraced rice fields, the stepped exterior unfolds as a layered landscape, an architectural gesture that echoes the island’s natural rhythms.

Designed as a Korean Restaurant, Entertainment Bar, and Rooftop Lounge, the space blends tactile materials such as stone, wood, and textured plaster, within a restrained modern form. The architecture seeks to feel timeless yet deeply rooted in place, expressing the spirit of Bali not through ornament, but through light, proportion, texture, and a quiet dialogue with nature.

Ultimately, the design celebrates the Bali experience: open, warm, and harmonious. A contemporary sanctuary inviting guests to reconnect with the landscape, and with themselves.
