Ruji is manifestation of 3 main aspects in a design, which are repetition, rythm, and pattern. Where in this work, those aspects are cryztalitation of our creative process in appreciating life.

The design took inspiration from the thought of our designer as a local citezen from Jepara which lack novelty in terms of design innovation and the fading of its carving culture. It also due to changes in human lifestyles, behaviors and taste. Modern people always to seek something that fast-paced and concise. It also affect the market demand for simpler and modern furniture. Therefore, in this case we try to dig again about the basics of carving, which turns out to consist of weight, depth and rhythm that creates anew pattern. We try to put it in daily functional items and furniture. So it has a good aesthetic but still has the function and ergonomic value.
