Dublin's supply of new Grade A office space is becoming increasingly constrained, while demand for high-quality, sustainable workplaces remains strong. Recent market intelligence points to ongoing demand for Grade A, ESG-compliant office accommodation and tightening availability.

As a result, the conversation is no longer centred solely on new office development.

It's increasingly focused on how existing buildings can be repositioned to meet the expectations of modern occupiers.

Over recent weeks, colleagues from across our projects and offices have attended Ignite Your Spark sessions led by Derek McBrien and Ruth Dunne, learning more about Spark's purpose and the role we all play in fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the business.

Don't the boys look well in their new gear!

McKeon Group is delighted to support Fingal Ravens GFC again this year.

Alongside sponsoring the U12 Boys team, we're also proud to support the club's Centenary Year and HUH Clothing's fantastic work in raising awareness around mental health and wellbeing.

From helping the next generation pull on the club jersey with pride, to supporting mental health awareness and celebrating 100 years of community involvement, we are delighted to play a small part in what promises to be a special year for Fingal Ravens.

Community has always been at the heart of what we do. Whether it's supporting young players, celebrating local clubs that have served generations, or backing initiatives that make a real difference, we're proud to invest in the communities where we live and work.

Delivery doesn’t stop at handover, and neither do our teams.

Alongside the continued progress on projects such as Lakeside Memorial Park and Gonzaga College, and the commencement of works at Hugh Lane Gallery for Dublin City Council, we’ve also been supporting clients across live environments and operational buildings.

Recent works include refurbishment, fit out and maintenance projects delivered for Bartra, CRU, Teeling Whiskey Distillery, Church of Ireland and Dundalk Institute of Technology.

These projects require the same discipline and attention to detail:
- careful planning in live environments
- tight programme management
- and consistent delivery standards throughout

It’s this ability to support our clients across the full lifecycle of their buildings, from initial delivery through to ongoing upgrade and maintenance, that underpins how we work.

Refurbishing a hotel while it remains fully operational is never straightforward, particularly within a protected historic building.

We recently completed the refurbishment and fit out of Haddington House Hotel in Dún Laoghaire, delivering upgraded guest accommodation within a series of Victorian townhouses dating back to the 19th century.

The project required careful coordination to integrate new building services, fire safety and accessibility upgrades, all while preserving the existing fabric and maintaining day-to-day hotel operations throughout.

Through a phased delivery approach, we completed the works with zero disruption to trading, protecting both the guest experience and revenue continuity.

As a testament to the incredible work of our team, our client noted, “I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat, and the team were all so lovely to work with.”

This project is a strong example of our approach to delivering complex refurbishment works within live, operational environments.

We had a fantastic evening at the ICE Awards last Thursday, celebrating being shortlisted for four awards across McKeon Group and Hereworks.

That recognition alone reflects the quality, collaboration and consistency being delivered across our teams.👏

Great to get the Sales, Marketing and Bid teams across McKeon Group and Hereworks together yesterday for some well-earned downtime.

A brilliant day out at Incognito Escape Rooms and even better, we achieved a new PB, escaping Cabin in the Woods with 4:25 to spare!
