Coffey is continuing work on the ๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ง๐ฒ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ค๐ฅ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐๐ก๐๐ฆ๐, delivering upgrades to road, pedestrian, cycling and utility infrastructure along the route.
The scheme is designed to improve connectivity between Delgany and Blacklion, with works including new and upgraded pedestrian and cycling facilities, drainage and utility infrastructure, road improvements, public lighting and associated accommodation works.

Work on Section 2 has continued to move forward, with recent activity focused on road construction, drainage, kerbing and pedestrian infrastructure.
Since our previous update, works have included:
โ๏ธ Earthworks completed across an area of 770mยฒ
โ๏ธ 2,300mยฒ of base and binder course surfacing completed
โ๏ธ 430m of slipform kerbing installed, bringing the total to 650m
โ๏ธ 150m of precast driveway and bus kerbs installed
โ๏ธ 1,020mยฒ of footpaths installed
โ๏ธ A further 950mยฒ of cycle track installed
โ๏ธ Mainline deep drainage works completed
This latest progress builds on the utility and accommodation works previously completed in Section 2, as the road, footpath and associated infrastructure continues to take shape along the route.
The improvements being delivered will provide safer and more accessible infrastructure for pedestrians, cyclists and road users, while improving connectivity between Delgany and Blacklion.
