Ballintubbert House hosted the near Festival of Garden and Nature over the weekend.

A fantastic two-day event of gardening, food and art with a focus on sustainability.

This year's festival proved to be hugely successful and saw celebrity chef Rory O'Connell return to his Laois roots, along with fellow speakers Dan Pearson, Dominic West, Sarah Raven and Thomasina Miers.

The day just keeps getting better ☀️ In the Potting Shed, Dan Pearson and Huw Morgan are digging deep with David Maxwell on the creation of their iconic contemporary garden — from scratch to something truly special 🌱 Over in the Pavilion, Anja Murray and Brendan Dunford are challenging everything we think we know about wild vs. tamed gardens 🦋 The conversations here are just brilliant today.
