It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our treasured friend and colleague Orlagh Cawley.

Orlagh was a founding member and director of OMD Design, the 'O’ in OMD and the driving force behind so much of what we did. Orlagh was an amazing, tenacious woman - a true perfectionist whose work ethic, motivation, strength, generosity and knowledge was endless.

Orlagh will be remembered as a wonderfully earnest, hard working and capable person in both her professional and personal life. Those lucky enough to have worked with Orlagh will know she was a true friend to so many communities and groups as she worked tirelessly on their behalf.

Orlagh will be deeply missed by all of us who had the pleasure of working with her. The sense of loss is immense but she will never be forgotten. Her legacy will live on for all to see but she will leave a void behind that nobody or nothing can replace.

Our thoughts are with Orlagh’s family at this sad time.

Funeral Arrangements: Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina (F26 V274) on Monday, 19th May from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, 20th May at 12 noon in St. James' Church, Easkey, followed by burial in Roslea Cemetery, Easkey.The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed at www.churchtv.ie/easkey.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, that we share the news of the passing of our friend and colleague Micheál Butler. Micheál was one of the founding directors of OMD Design, the 'M' in OMD, Micheál was a true perfectionist, generous with his time and his vast expertise.

He will be remembered as a true gentleman, a man that had a smile and a good word for everybody he met, both in his private life and at work.

Micheál will be deeply missed by all of us that had the pleasure of working with him.

Our thoughts are with Micheál's family at this sad time.

As many of you know at this stage our friend and colleague Micheál (the 'M' in OMD) is currently battling a rare form of cancer known as EHE.

Our thoughts and best wishes are with Micheál and his family at this difficult time and we will endeavor to support them through this journey.

We are deeply appreciative of the messages and phone calls of support received and acknowledge our many clients and friends who have already donated to the following gofundme page.

A full size FIFA Quality Mark Certified pitch was recently handed over to our friends at Kilglass Enniscrone United Football Club. Was a pleasure working with the Club and OMD Design throughout in delivering this fantastic facility.

The Draft Sligo County Development Plan is now available to view, submissions can be made up until 22nd December 2023, the plan includes zoning maps for the villages and towns in the County

Congratulations to Stokane Community Park on completion of their very impressive community astroturf pitch, grass playing field and walking track. This is a great facility for the community and OMD Design are delighted to have been involved with this project from the beginning.

Draft Sligo County Development Plan 2024-2030 will be available to view on Sligo County Council's consultation portal http://consult.sligococo.ie/ from the 13th October 2023 and is open for submissions until 22nd December 2023.

It is important to view the Draft development Plan and your Local Area Plan or Urban Development Plan to have your say about what happens in your area.

Delighted to attend the official opening of recently completed extension works at Scoil Asicus Naofa (Strandhill National School).

Great to see the completion of latest extension accommodating a new mainstream classroom with ancillary accommodation. Works also included major site development works and the provision of external play area.

We have an exciting development coming to Michael McGowan Park, the home of KEUFC. In the spring of 2023 we are set to build a build a full size EUFA certified 4G all-weather pitch. Our club has experienced huge growth levels in terms of membership and teams and this is putting incredible strain on our existing grass pitch. In order to continue to grow the club, to field more teams and especially to grow soccer for girls the club executive have taken the difficult but exciting decision to upgrade from Grass to All-Weather.
The project will commence in April 2023 and will be ready for the 2023/24 season. The club are delighted to have secured Sligo Leader Partnership Company Ltd funding of 200k for the project and the project has been awarded to world renowned company SIS Pitches who will work with our Engineers OMD Design.
To successfully complete the project we will need assistance from the community in terms of fundraising and financing, more on this to follow.
