***Inclusive Design***

We at CBA Architecture are proud to announce a significant milestone in our journey towards inclusive design and accessibility. One of our directors, Stephen Brennan, is on the cusp of completing a Higher Diploma in Facilitating Inclusion (Disability Studies) from University College Cork (UCC). This accomplishment not only reflects our commitment to ongoing education and professional development but also signifies a profound dedication to creating spaces that cater to the diverse needs of all individuals.

Our firm has long been recognized for our expertise in designing homes that seamlessly blend accessibility with aesthetics. Whether it’s integrating wheelchair ramps, optimizing spatial layouts for mobility, or implementing sensory-friendly features, we understand the importance of creating environments that feel like home while meeting the unique requirements of each client.

With Stephen’s expertise in facilitating inclusion and disability studies, we are poised to further elevate our approach to accessible design. The HDip in Facilitating Inclusion (Disability Studies) from (UCC) equips Stephen with a comprehensive understanding of disability rights, inclusive practices, and the latest advancements in universal design principles. This knowledge will be instrumental in ensuring that our projects not only meet but exceed the expectations of our clients.

We wish Stephen the best in his last few weeks of his final module in ‘Design Training and Inclusion’ in Disability Studies.

If you would like to discuss your project with Stephen, please contact us.

Here's what our clients said about this project:

From a client perspective, getting an architect was the only way of getting these challenges overcome. For a small amount of money in relation to the budget, we got a great design giving us a better layout throughout the whole house with much more light. The difference these small but significant changes make to our house are huge. We now have a lovely Kitchen/dining/living area that connects to the outside and to the sitting room.
We also have a whole new layout in the hall with extra windows to throw light into the the hall and sitting room.
The American Front Porch could not have turned out better and gives the whole house a different feel.

I cannot highlight to people having built a house for the second time how important an Architect is. There is no way without the help of Mark and Stephen at CBA Architecture would we have got the house to the standard that it’s at now. Also getting good trades people that you can trust is massively important.
