Huge thanks to all our teams across SIG for getting involved in Safety Week 👏
From the ideas shared on safety boards to the engagement across every branch, it’s clear that safety is embedded in everything we do. Our branch-wide employee competition brought forward some brilliant ideas — many of which we’re excited to roll out nationwide. It was also great to see strong involvement from our SLT, visiting branches and engaging directly with teams on their safety ideas.
We were delighted to welcome Michael Stegeman and Kevin Moore from , who visited the Dublin, Omagh and Belfast branches. They highlighted the high standards, strong compliance, and positive safety culture across our business — and recognised SIG Ireland as an OPCO with the lowest LTIFR, seeing first-hand the work behind this achievement.
It was also great to introduce our new SIG-branded safety jackets for all branch members and drivers. Alongside this, SIG-branded coffee cups were delivered to every branch — giving employees and customers the chance to share a coffee together and lift spirits during the week.
A huge well done to our Safety team — Niall Kennedy and Maria McErlean — for delivering such a successful week.
