A community-based not-for-profit social enterprise, Bantry Bayworks is the local chapter of Grow Remote, and we uphold their not-for-profit status and mission - to enable people to work, live and participate in rural Ireland. Our story began back in 2016 when Bantry Chamber formed a working group that focused on improving broadband access and IT infrastructure in Bantry. As connectivity in Bantry

gradually improved, a subcommittee was formed in 2019 to examine how to take things forward and stimulate local economic growth. Bantry Bayworks has made the possibility of working remotely, while enjoying the lifestyle that Bantry offers, a reality for many. With stunning views over Bantry Bay, we’ve 16 hot desks available, with super-fast Wi-Fi, free parking for up to 200 cars, charge point for electric car owners and a cafe onsite downstairs in SuperValu.
