Introduction to Plumbing course for women in Rossnakill. A few places available is you would like to join?

Women's Collective Ireland-Donegal are delighted to be offering a 6-week plumbing course for women, starting on Thursday 12th February 7-9pm in Rossnakill Community Hub. Over the sessions you will be introduced to everyday plumbing issues with practical demonstration activities to allow you to address issues when they arise. The Course fee is €35. Just want to point out something for all those on the boil water notice in Buncrana. The advisory is "Water must be boiled (rolling boil for 1 minute and then cooled)". Your modern electric kettle cuts out at the rolling boil point for safety reasons, so unless you are boiling in a pot or in a whistling kettle on a cooker top, you will not get 1 min rolling boil.

Today was the last day of 2-day Plumbing and Heating workshop at Carrowmenagh Centre!

Over two Saturdays, participants gained practical experience in key plumbing skills — from repairing taps and toilets to understanding heating systems. 🔧🔥

A huge thank you to our excellent tutor, Gary McLaughlin, Rapid Plumbing Inishowen, for delivering such an engaging and informative course, and to Donegal ETB for part-funding through Community Education.
