The truth is, your plants need water and lots of it in this dry weather which is also the growing season. Plants are throwing out roots and shoots and need consistent watering.

We use chicken manure pellets on trees and hedging plants in the nursery with great success. Pellets are available on the website in bags and buckets. Our recommended feeding window is end of May across the summer to October.

Here’s a few things you can do to give your freshly planted bare root laurels the best start for the growing season.
1. Walk them in
2. Monitor moisture levels
3. Bark mulch
4. Prune out the brown bits
5. Start feeding with chicken pellets between May and October.
