Your bath doesn’t have to be white! Colour can completely change how a bathroom feels, and your bath can now become part of that wider design story.

Through our partnerships with premium sanitaryware makers, selected baths can be finished in a colour chosen specifically for your space. You might want a soft, calming shade that blends beautifully with your tiles, a deep dramatic tone that creates a focal point, or a colour that complements your vanity unit and other finishes.

It gives us even more scope to create a tailored bathroom design that reflects your style and meets your very specific requirements, right down to the colour of the bath.

Visit Inspire Tiles & Stone in Claremorris and let’s explore what we can create for your bathroom.

Why choose an ordinary basin when you can choose one that brings real character to the room? An atelier basin is designed to be noticed. With distinctive shapes, tactile finishes, beautiful colours and artistic detailing, they feel more like individual interior pieces than standard bathroom fittings.

Pair one with simple furniture and complementary tiles, and it can become the starting point for the entire bathroom design. It’s a lovely way to create a space that feels personal, considered and a little different from anything you’ll see elsewhere.

Not every bathroom needs the same budget.

When building a home, it is easy for the cost of several bathrooms, ensuites and WCs to add up quickly. The answer is not necessarily to choose the cheapest option for every room. It is to decide where your budget will make the greatest difference.

Invest more in the main family bathroom or ensuite, the rooms you will use most, and keep secondary spaces simpler.

A beautiful vanity, quality shower system or feature tile can become the focal point, while complementary tiles and dependable sanitaryware create a coordinated look without unnecessary expense.

Using the same core tile across several rooms can also simplify ordering and create consistency throughout your home.

At Inspire Tiles & Stone, we can help you compare options and allocate your budget carefully across the entire house. Get in touch to make an appointment for a personalised consultation today at [email protected]

Can you use large format tiles in a small bathroom? Absolutely. They can make the room feel more spacious.

Larger tiles create fewer grout lines, giving walls and floors a calmer, less cluttered appearance. Continuing the same tile across several surfaces can make the boundaries of the room feel less obvious and produce a clean, seamless finish.

However, size is only part of the decision. The room dimensions, tile placement, cuts, drainage falls and position of sanitaryware all need to be considered. A layout that looks effortless usually requires careful planning.

Before ordering, calculate how the tiles will sit around windows, niches, shower trays and corners. This can prevent awkward narrow cuts and unnecessary waste.

Bring your bathroom measurements or plans to Inspire Tiles & Stone and we will help you choose a format that works for the actual space. Email us at [email protected] to book a personalised consultation.

A beautiful bathroom still has to work on a busy morning!

Where will towels hang? Can drawers open without hitting another fitting? Is there enough space around the toilet? Where will toiletries, cleaning products and electrical items be stored?

Storage-focused vanities with deep drawers are increasingly popular because they keep everyday items accessible without allowing them to take over the worktop. Recessed shower niches can also provide practical storage without adding bulky fittings inside the shower.

Think carefully about cleaning too. Wall-hung furniture, larger tiles and well-positioned glass can make the room considerably easier to maintain.

At Inspire Tiles & Stone, we help customers look beyond the showroom display and consider how every choice will function in their own home. Send us an email to [email protected] to book a personalised consultation to talk about making your bathroom work for you.

Will your new bathroom work now and in the future?

Future-proofing does not mean creating a clinical-looking bathroom. Many of today’s most desirable features also make a room safer and easier to use.

A level-access or low-profile shower, generous entrance, slip-resistant floor tile, wall-hung vanity and carefully positioned shower controls can create a modern, uncluttered space while supporting changing needs in the future.

If you are considering a walk-in shower or wet-room design, plan it from the beginning. Drainage, floor levels, falls and waterproofing must all be properly considered before tiling begins.

Even if you do not need additional supports now, suitable reinforcement can be incorporated into the walls during construction, allowing fittings to be added later if required. Thoughtful planning today can prevent a costly redesign tomorrow.

Building a new home? Don't leave the bathrooms until last!

Your bathroom may not be fitted until much later in the build, but several important decisions need to be made much sooner.

If you would like a wall-hung toilet, concealed shower controls, a recessed shelf or a wall-mounted vanity, the plumbing, supports and wall depths must be planned before the walls are finished.

It is also important to confirm the position of your shower, bath, basin, toilet, heated towel rail, lighting and electrical points early. Changing these later can mean additional work, expense and compromise.

Our advice? Choose your layout and key products while there is still time to make the design work properly.

Bring your plans to Inspire Tiles & Stone and let us help you consider the complete space before work progresses on site - it could save you a lot in the long run!
