Then a fan in yellow leaned on the decks and paused the music right as Fred was dropping the Skrillex ID that would become "Leave Me Like This."⁠

The song, 'Wake Me Up', might have been his biggest hit ever, and the effect of it is easily seen in this clip. Released in 2013, it became one of the best selling singles of all time, blending folk and EDM in a way nobody had done before. It introduced a generation to dance music.⁠

Shortly after this, he retired from touring in 2016 due to health issues. Two years later, on April 20th 2018, we lost him at just 28 years old.⁠
