Due to unprecedented demand, our attic conversion schedule has been fully booked for most of the summer ☀️

We are now officially taking bookings for late August and September, with limited spaces remaining.

🏠 BALLINCOLLIG ATTIC CONVERSION – NEARLY COMPLETE 🔥

Another full attic conversion project coming close to the finish line for the Tip Top Carpentry team 👌

Plastering is being finished off this evening, with just a few small bits left to complete on the second level 💪

The project is now fully ready for:
✅ Electrical second fix
✅ Plumbing second fix
✅ Final carpentry works
✅ Finishing stages starting next week

This attic has completely transformed the house, creating a huge amount of additional living space while blending seamlessly into the existing home 👏

🚧 FULL GARAGE RENOVATION – SOUTH SIDE CORK 🚧

We recently carried out a full inspection on this garage renovation project on the south side of Cork. The original plan was to transform the space into a modern children’s playroom with a small kitchenette area, bespoke storage units, and custom bookshelves handcrafted in our workshop 👌

During our initial inspection, we uncovered major structural and water damage issues throughout the building ⚠️

❌ Severe black mould on walls, ceilings & skirting
❌ Rotten roof structure in the attic
❌ Failed fascia & soffit system
❌ Ongoing water ingress
❌ Damaged slabs & plasterboard
❌ Incorrectly fitted PVC with multiple failures
❌ No proper drainage around the building

Due to the extent of the damage, the building required a full strip back and complete renovation to make it safe, dry & structurally sound 💪

Works currently underway 👇

✅ Full roof replacement
✅ New breathable membrane & battens
✅ New fascia, soffit & overfascia
✅ New gutters & PVC system
✅ Ridge caps & side walls repointed
✅ Full drainage system installed around the building
✅ Full rewire & upgraded electrics
✅ Full replaster throughout
✅ Replacement of damaged slabs
✅ Bespoke kitchenette, storage & bookshelves handcrafted in our workshop 🔥

This project shows why proper inspections before renovations are so important 👌
What looked like a straightforward garage conversion was hiding years of structural damage and water issues underneath.
