There's no one-size-fits-all fix when it comes to energy upgrades. Every home is different, every household's needs are different, and the only way to get it right is to listen first.

That's what our Technical Manager Fergus talked about at a recent community energy event in Cavan, alongside SEAI and other local partners. Not a sales pitch - just honest guidance on the upgrades and funding supports that actually make sense, so people can reduce costs and feel more comfortable in their homes.

That's the kind of conversation we want to keep having.

SE Systems plays a hugely important role in delivering Ireland's 2030 energy targets. That's how SEAI CEO William Walsh described our work when he visited us earlier this month.

He explained it as a cycle: the work we do on the ground feeds back into SEAI's targets, shaping how they approach their own work in turn.

William was in Cork for the opening of our expanded headquarters and the announcement of 150 new jobs over the next two years. Thank you, William, for joining us!

Decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and lower bills for households, businesses and communities. That's the work Michael McGrath EU Commissioner highlighted when he visited us in Cork earlier this month.

Commissioner McGrath joined us to officially open our expanded headquarters and help us announce 150 new jobs over the next two years. He spoke about the role collaboration plays in getting this work done, and how companies like SE Systems are essential to reducing Europe's reliance on imported fossil fuels.

Thank you, Commissioner, for taking the time to visit and mark the occasion with us. 💚

Earlier this month, we celebrated the opening of our new Cork headquarters and welcomed the people who helped make it happen.

Staff, partners and brilliant guests walked through the building to see what two years of planning had become. Michael McGrath EU Commissioner for Democracy, Justice, the Rule of Law and Consumer Protection, and William Walsh, CEO of SEAI, joined us on the day. Both spoke to what this space means for Cork, and for the 150 new jobs we're creating over the next two years.

Moments like this are the reason we expanded our space in the first place: a room full of the people it's all for, marking what comes next together.

None of this could happen without the right people behind the scenes. Thank you to Here's Health for the fantastic breakfast spread, Nua Asador for the delicious barbecue, Saor Bar for the stylish alcohol-free cocktails, AVC Ltd for sound and stage, and the team at Springboard Communications, for helping to bring it all together.

This is only the beginning of what this building will hold.

The 2026 Cork Camogie SE Systems Minor Championship has officially begun, marking one year since we built on our long-term sponsorship of Cork Camogie by becoming their official sustainability partner.

This partnership is about backing local clubs and putting climate action into practice: energy upgrades at Castle Road Pavilion, expert support for the county board, and a county-wide solar fundraising campaign for clubs across Cork.

🎥 In the video, hear from Pádraig Treacy (Chairperson, Cork Camogie), Jake O'Connell (Commercial Director, SE Systems), and Caitriona Courtney (Community Solutions Manager, SE Systems), plus three club captains:

🏑 Stef Beausang, captain of Killeagh
🏑 Steph Punch, captain of St Finbarr's
🏑 Catriona Ellen, captain of Ballygarvan

Best of luck to every player, mentor, club, referee and volunteer in the championship ahead. Let the games begin!

Good work starts with the basics.

Our PV crew recently completed CSCS Mobile Tower Training, a -registered course covering the safe er****on, use, and dismantling of mobile scaffolding towers. A big thanks to Pat Hannon from Ayrton Group for delivering the training.

Certified training like this is what keeps our sites safe and our crews confident at height.
