The SEAI recently announced changes to the Building Energy Rating (BER) scale.
There's now less categories and more features.
What does this mean if you're looking to upgrade your home?

𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲🎥

⚠️𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 - if you're looking to upgrade your home through the One Stop Shop, a BER Report alone won't allow you to apply for grants.

To avail of up to €39,250 in SEAI funding for your Home Energy Upgrade, your first step and requirement is a Home Energy Assessment (which includes your BER rating).

An 𝗘-𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 home transformed into an 𝗔-𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 , warmer and more energy-efficient home in 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻, 𝗖𝗼. 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, supported by €25,980 in SEAI grants.
