These pictures are from a chimney that we cleaned last week.

This Person was cleaning their own chimney with ordinary chimney brushes from the bottom up every 6 weeks.
While they where cleaning it last week, the head of the chimney brush came loose and stuck in one of the bends, they rang us the retrieve the brush. On inspection of the chimney, we discovered that the top of the chimney and the cowl were almost completely blocked with creosote. The customer commented that the chimney had been smoking this last 12 months and had blackened the ceiling and walls in that room, the lady of the house had also said that she developed a very bad cough which in our expert opinion was due to the carbon monoxide coming from the chimney. We retrieved the missing brush head and proceeded to clean all 3 chimneys in the house.

**WE CANNOT EMPHASISE ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO GET YOUR CHIMNEY CLEANED ANNUALLY BY A CERTIFIED CHIMNEY SWEEP**
