The weather was perfect last week in letterkenny for a 9.6 kWp solar system

This was our first time installing a K2 S-Dome flat roof system and it couldn’t of worked out any better 👏

The system consisted of:

* 21 460 watt Jinko PV panels
* 5kw WECO 5kw inverter coupled with 2 5kw WECO batteries 🔋

Setup and commissioned by our Solar Pv Team with online monitoring to see exactly how the system performs each day.

A great effort by the team on this one 👏

Sharing our experience on our own Solar System for the year of 2025

Based on an all electric house with an Air to water heat pump, 2 adults and 3 children.

System consists of 18 panels facing south/east, 5kwh hybrid inverter with no battery added as of yet.

Physically paying for just 3 of our 6 bills for the year.

Total cost of electricity since the 28th of January 2025 - 27th January 2026 adds to €849.22
