🏆 Little Angels School Wins the RIAI Public Choice Award 2026 🏆

We are incredibly proud to have been the main contractor on the award-winning Little Angels School, Letterkenny, which has been named Ireland’s favourite building in the RIAI Public Choice Award 2026.

Selected from 174 entries and emerging as the overall winner from a shortlist of 44 outstanding projects, this achievement is a testament to the power of collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to creating spaces that positively impact lives.

Designed by McGarry Ní Éanaigh Architects, Little Angels School is a purpose-built Special Educational Needs facility serving children and young adults aged 3 - 18 with complex needs. The project has been widely recognised as a benchmark for inclusive design, combining thoughtfully planned educational, therapeutic, recreational and social spaces within a welcoming and inspiring environment.

We would like to congratulate everyone involved in delivering this exceptional project, including the client, design team, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and our own project team whose dedication and expertise helped bring this vision to life.

We are honoured to have played a role in delivering a facility that makes such a meaningful difference to students, families, staff, and the wider community.

⛳️ A fantastic day was had by all at the Boyle Construction Charity Golf Classic, held on Friday at Carrick-on-Shannon Golf Club in aid of St. Mary's Cemetery Committee, Carrick-on-Shannon.

This fantastic event was organised by our Carrick-on-Shannon CNU site team, and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who took part, all of our generous sponsors, and a special thank you to Carrick-on-Shannon Golf Course for hosting and supporting the event.

The day was filled with great golf, great company, and a great community spirit. Most importantly, the funds raised will support a very deserving local organisation that plays an important role in the Carrick on Shannon community.

The Little Angels School in Letterkenny has been shortlisted for the prestigious 2026 Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) Public Choice Award, making it one of just 44 projects selected nationwide and the only school included in this year's competition to find Ireland’s favourite building or public space.

This nomination is a significant achievement for everyone involved in the delivery of the project. Boyle Construction was delighted to serve as the main contractor on this very special development, working alongside the design team, client and school community to create a purpose-built facility that supports the educational, therapeutic, and social needs of its students.

The project, officially listed as the New Special Educational Needs School, Letterkenny, provides a modern, inclusive learning environment featuring specialist classrooms, therapy spaces, sensory gardens, and recreational facilities designed to enhance the daily experience of pupils and staff alike.

We are immensely proud to have played a role in delivering a building that has now been recognised on a national stage and wish the project every success in the RIAI Public Choice Award 2026.

Being the only school nominated among 44 shortlisted projects is a testament to the vision, collaboration, and commitment of all those involved in bringing this exceptional facility to life.
