𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰 ⛳
Proud members of Cork Chamber, Clancy were delighted to take part in and sponsor Tuesday’s Cork Chamber Golf Classic.

The event was played in a four person scramble format, with teams enjoying a great day of golf alongside a number of novelty competitions, including Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive challenges.

A fantastic feature of the day was the Hole in One Charity Challenge on the 12th hole, held in association with O’Donovan Baker LLP Solicitors. Entry donations supported two Cork Chamber member charities, adding an important charitable element to the Classic.

Representing Clancy on the course were Cormac Smith, Dave O’Mahony, Damien Riedy and Des Riordan. It was a pleasure to support the Cork Chamber Golf Classic and to spend the day connecting with fellow Chamber members and the wider Cork business community.

A big thank you to Cork Chamber and everyone involved in organising a great event.

Clancy Construction were delighted to support the St Mary's Rosslare GAA & Camogie Club Annual Golf Classic at St Helen’s Bay Golf Resort last Friday.

Representing Clancy Construction on the day were Jamie McDonald, Conor Hill, Shea Boggan and Jordon Kinch, who put in a great performance and finished just three shots off the prizes!

The lads thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic day out and were delighted to play their part in supporting a great local club and community event.

🏗️ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 | 𝗦𝘁. 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲’𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻
We were delighted to hand over the St. Laurence’s Residential Community in Stillorgan during the summer, marking the completion of an exciting new development at a prominent location adjacent to the N11 and Kilmacud Road.

The project has transformed a previously underutilised site, formerly occupied by two-storey housing and a temporary library, into a vibrant new residential quarter comprising 88 modern apartments and a brand-new public library for Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.

The residential element includes a mix of duplex, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, arranged around a landscaped courtyard garden. Responding to the different conditions across the site, the buildings step in height from four storeys to nine storeys at the prominent junction of the N11 and Kilmacud Road, creating a distinctive new landmark on the Stillorgan skyline.

At the prow of the development sits the new two-storey public library, with direct access to the shared garden. Its stepped form creates a covered portal along the pedestrian route through the scheme, helping connect the development with the surrounding community.

Beyond delivering new homes and an important public amenity, the scheme significantly enhances the public realm through new pedestrian routes, connections and landscaped gardens, creating a more welcoming and accessible environment for residents and the wider Stillorgan community.

Completed to high standards of sustainability and environmental performance, St. Laurence’s represents a significant addition to Stillorgan and one we are proud to have successfully delivered and handed over.

A fantastic achievement by everyone involved in bringing this landmark development to completion.

We are delighted to announce that Marius Gelzinis is our Employee of the Month.

Marius is consistently producing high standards for quality and accuracy in what is a very sensitive environment at St Vincents Hospital. This is especially noticeable for all tie in works into the live hospital environment. The nature of the project results in the majority of works interacting with the hospital to happen outside of business hours at a fast pace, many of which results in works continuing late into the night to be ready for the morning.

Marius completes all tasks to the highest quality with a positive and engaging attitude. Marius has cultivated a good working relationship with the client team and the leads the Clancy site team. Marius has consistently shown site leadership, work ethic and attention to detail and is an asset to the project and Clancy Construction.

Marius was presented with his jacket by Associate Director Ian Smilie and the project team at St Vincent’s celebrated by enjoying some breakfast.

Congratulations to our wonderful colleague Clodagh O'Neill, Prequalification Administrator at Clancy and her partner Myles on their recent engagement!

To celebrate the happy news, the team gathered at Head Office today to raise a glass of non-alcoholic bubbles and toast the newly engaged couple.

Clodagh is a hugely valued and much loved member of the Clancy team and she's especially popular with everyone in our Drangan office. We couldn't be happier for her and Myles as they begin this exciting new chapter together.

Throughout July, our contractors continued to demonstrate the high standards that underpin every Clancy project. Across our sites, they consistently showed a strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork, helping to create safe working environments while delivering excellent results.

From maintaining high standards of housekeeping and following safe systems of work to wearing the correct PPE and working collaboratively with Clancy teams and fellow trades, these contractors led by example every day. Their professionalism, positive attitude and attention to detail continue to strengthen the safety culture across our projects and contribute to successful project delivery.

𝐒𝐤𝐲𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞
At the weekend, our Construction Director, Cormac Smith, alongside his daughter Emily and sons Odhran and Fionan took part in a skydive with the The Irish Parachute Club in County Offaly in memory of Cormac's beloved sister, Berni, while raising vital funds for the ILFA Ireland .

Losing Berni to lung fibrosis inspired her family to honour her memory by raising awareness of this life-limiting condition and supporting the incredible work of the Irish Lung Fibrosis Association, which provides support and information for people living with lung fibrosis and their families.

A huge congratulations to Cormac, Emily, Odhran and Fionan on completing the skydive. It was an incredible achievement for a truly meaningful cause and a wonderful way to celebrate Berni's memory while making a difference for others.
