SWIRL CANDLE HOLDERS

Delighted I can finally post these. You can never have enough candle-holders right?!? These were a fun little commission, and I’m happy with how they turned out. They almost feel like a natural stone too. Definitely want to play around with the idea of candle-holders in future.

Can finally post this Tea Set as it has been delivered.(It was a surprise)

This set contains every colour I’ve made since the very start. Every time I didn’t have enough chips of a certain colour to make something else I threw them in a jar. Or every time I found a stray chip on the floor, (happens a lot) in it went, until eventually I had enough of these odd bits and bobs to make something else.

I was afraid it would look awful and too busy, but I love this set. Black was definitely the right colour to highlight all the rest. I had so much fun making these tbh. Hope they bring some joy.

COFFEE & TEA SETS

I’ve just added these sets to my Etsy. The coffee set consists of one larger coaster/trivet with two smaller coasters. The tea sets contain one larger coaster/trivet with 4-6 smaller coasters.

I recycled the waste from previous things I’d made into these so the colours are a bit of a free-for-all but adds to the charm (or so I tell myself)

RECYCLING ♻️

I spent this weekend recycling all my waste from previous orders into terrazzo chips for coffee and tea sets. Black recycled coffee set pictured: one large coaster or trivet with two smaller ones, and the tea sets have 4-6 smaller coasters. All in all, I feel like it was a productive weekend.☀️

New graphic identity by the wonderful

I love it. Makes me feel like a fancy educational toy company. Which I think really encapsulates the joy that I feel making things. I’m still not entirely sure what this ‘space’ is but I am enjoying figuring that out. What are experiments anyway, if not just ‘play’ for adults?

Thank you for your support so far! Please message me if you have any ideas, I’m always excited to make new things. There are a lot of things in the works, exploring ideas takes a little longer than I expected but that’s okay. That’s part of the fun.

EXPERIMENTS

Some of this week’s explorations with colour. I’m going to put all these up on Etsy this weekend. I’m running out of space and while I wait on materials for the next couple of weeks I’m going to keep making what I can.

T R I A L & E R R O R

Still not fully in love with this little side table. I think there’s too many chips or maybe the colours are too bold. I’m not sure, but I don’t hate it either? I loved it when I was sanding it and then I stood back and was like woah maybe not...

If in doubt just add plants until it’s vibey. 😅 Those two smaller plant pots will probably be the first sizes I sell.

Might make a couple of these tables for the craic 🤔 but the cost of the materials alone is spenny so I’m still on the fence. Anyway, happy Friday! I’m loving the chance to be creative and make things again.

GRADIENT

These were all made from the waste of other orders so I had a bit of fun with them. Tried to make a gradient from white to black. Not sure how people feel about sets that don’t match?

These, along with some others I made between orders will be added to my Etsy tomorrow.

Black & White

I love colour, but have been trying to play around with more muted coasters between orders. So there’s a small collection of black, white, & grey going up on Etsy this weekend.

C O M I N G S O O N

I started this to make plant pots for myself, because as any successful plant parents out there know: you constantly need new pots.

I’m testing sealers at the minute, and some seem to work but I’m not sure for how long so I’m hesitant to sell any. Maybe I’ll just have to call them decorative and recommend not planting directly into them while I test them long term. And I don’t want to coat the inside in plastic.

If anyone has any sealer recommendations please let me know? This is all new and I’m bound to be making mistakes.

Recycled: ♻️

These coasters were made from the waste generated by a set of pastel pride coasters. I have an affinity for contrasting coasters and these might be some of my favourite I’ve made so far.

Hey hey!

Welcome! 🌱 I’m not really sure what this is yet, so I have been a bit hesitant to promote it. But I’m hoping it will become a space I can create in and share.

Níos Mó is Irish for bigger, better, further etc. It’s kinda undefinable in English, as it’s depends on its context which was my intention. Also it’s f*%king hard to find a name that isn’t already taken across socials, while being intentionally ambiguous/vague. Struggles. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Branding seems premature and pretentious, and a change is already in the works behind the scenes with my good pal , but i wanted to hop on and say hey and explain a bit.

I want this to be bright and fun space. Sustainability doesn’t have to be boring. My focus is on slow living and small batches while being as sustainable as I can.

There’s a lot coming. If you have any ideas about things you’d like to see, please let me know. Collaboration is key 🔑
