Health and Wellbeing

A safe workplace is also a healthy workplace in Stewart Construction. Health Screening & Wellbeing highlights the importance of prioritising both physical and mental wellbeing, ensuring workers have access to the support, resources and working environment they need to stay healthy, engaged and productive.

Thanks to Bernadette McQueen from CWHT who carried out Health Screening at our Templemore project site this week. Also in the picture is Gary Long and Paddy Quaid from Stewart Construction.

Last Monday, some of our Directors visited Coláiste Éinde in , to speak with 5th Year students about in the sector and life at Stewart Construction

It was a pleasure to return to a school that Stewart Construction built nearly 100 years ago — a great reminder of the lasting impact of our work and the importance of inspiring the next generation into the industry.

Thank you to the students and staff of Coláiste Éinde for the warm welcome.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who donated to our Sleep Out for Simon! ❤️ Your incredible generosity raised a staggering €17,770 for Galway Simon Community

We were absolutely delighted to welcome Carol and Hannah from Galway Simon Community to our Galway office today. It was wonderful to formally present them with the cheque and to hear firsthand about the vital services Galway Simon provide in our community.

This fundraising will go a long way towards supporting their essential work in ending homelessness in the West. 🏠🤝

Áras an tSáile, Renmore, Galway - featured in the July/August edition of Architecture Ireland - The RIAI Journal.

Delivered by Stewart Construction, the extensive works included improved wall and roof insulation, energy-efficient windows and glazing, a new heating and ventilation system, solar panels and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

This has significantly improved the building’s energy efficiency and Building Energy Rating (BER), as well as reducing energy consumption and operational carbon emissions while supporting the Government’s climate action commitments for the public sector.

This Project was managed by the Office of Public Works, it is funded by the Irish Government and part-financed by the European Union under the EU National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).

This project is shortlisted for a Green Project of the Year award in the Irish Construction Industry Awards 2026.
