Our Road Surfacing & Contracting business unit has been exceptionally busy recently, delivering works across residential developments, town centre schemes and public infrastructure projects throughout Ireland.

Featured in these images are projects in Balbriggan, Kilmartin Town Centre, and the R411 in Wicklow, where we have been supplying, laying and delivering premium asphalt surfacing solutions to the highest standards.

Last week, Kilsaran Precast Managing Director, Derek Duffy, was pleased to speak at the Progress Group Summit 2026 in Brixen, Italy, joining precast concrete and reinforcement industry professionals from around the world for two days of discussion, innovation and knowledge sharing.

Derek's presentation explored the evolution of Kilsaran Precast, highlighting our approach to automation, integrated production systems, sustainability and high-capacity manufacturing. He shared insights into how investment in modern precast technologies is helping deliver greater efficiency, quality and scale to meet the growing demands of the construction sector.

It was great to connect with architects, developers, engineers, contractors and specifiers throughout the day, discussing the innovative solutions helping to shape projects across Ireland.

It was a pleasure to host the team from Wills Bros Group at our Gallstown Quarry, Co. Louth for a recent CPD visit and give them a firsthand look at our operations.

The visit provided an opportunity to explore the full production journey across our operations, including quarrying and aggregate processing, asphalt manufacturing, ready-mixed concrete, and concrete block production.

A sincere thank you to C.J. Simpelo for coordinating the visit, and to Peter Ryan and Donal McAteer for delivering an informative overview of the production processes and operational activities across the site.

These visits give us the opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen industry partnerships and showcase the expertise involved in the manufacture of essential construction materials.
