Custom made and designed to suit our clients taste. This Winder Stairs with stained and lacquered threads and handrail was fitted last week. What a statement piece in the house.

Our Member Jim Hyde has released a new book. Check out his message below and be sure to pop into one of his launches to get your hands on a copy for yourself. Best of luck Jim!

This week sees the first launches of the new book, The Super 7 Towns & Villages of West Waterford, by Jim Hyde. Many thanks to everyone who helped put the book together, across all the different places.

Lots of ideas, suggestions and corrections came up, which added to the quality of the book immensely. Also, some people have far better cameras and phones than I ever will, so a special thank you to those who cheerfully lent a great pic or two: Eddie Dee Photography, Dungarvan; Ann O’Brien, Villierstown; Jo Bell, Cappoquin; and Andrew Malcolm, Lismore.

With over 400 colour photographs, hopefully everyone will find something in it to keep them visiting and enjoying West Waterford in all its glory.

Congratulations to Marie Quinn, the Quinn family and all the staff at the Moorings Restaurant and Bar on winning the Taste of Waterford award at the Waterford Chamber of Commerce business awards held in the Tower Hotel last night. A fantastic achievement and well deserved.
