'Belief' is defined as, "the feeling of being certain that something exists or is true" and this was the starting point when choosing a name for our business. It is our Beleaf that something can

exist that will combine the beauty, warmth, strength and flexibility of timber with sculptural elements and beautiful forms while maintaining a simple, practical utility. A professional background in architectural design and over 20 years experience working as a carpenter have helped me to understand the structure and the working properties of timber, while feedback from clients looking for something a little different have also helped to hone our products. Living in close proximity to Lough Corrib and its landscape influences the creative side of the process and inspires the gentle curves and flowing lines that run throughout the work of Beleaf.

What a lovely review we received from a recent project

'We like to read, listen to music, spend time with family and friends but Irish summers have a habit of keeping us in doors... One evening in early summer we had a thought....that grew into a dream....then we touched base with an amazing craftsman who we are lucky enough to have as a neighbour too! Tony from Beleaf Design led carpentry. He listened to our ideas, and transformed our dream into a reality, indeed what Tony created is much much more than what we imagined possible. The quality of the work, craftsmanship and attention to detail is absolutely amazing. We are looking forward to many happy days and nights with family and friends in our terrace and all that remains is to christen it “Tóg go bog é” seems like a good name – Happy days'
