During a recent heating call out our plumber identified two oil related problems. The first shows a perished oil hose located inside a utility within a house. This had the potential to rupture and cause an oil leak inside the property.
The second photo shows a life expired oil tank where a vertical crack was found on an 21 year old oil tank with a 1/4 tank of oil. No oil had escaped but it was only a matter of time before the tank leaked.
During your annual oil boiler service a service technician will inspect every element of your system ensuring you have no sudden surprises. If your boiler has not been inspected recently you can book your service by contacting The Service Team.
