Founded in 1979. Based in Corrandulla, Curran Sawmills is a family owned business specialising in th Kiln drying and machining facilities are also available.

Curran Sawmills specialising in the manufacture and supply of quality building, fencing, decking, agricultural, landscaping and pallet component timbers. On site we have our own treatment facilities to provide a high performance, long term protection to our timbers using TANALITHE and TANATONE wood preservatives.

JOB OPENING 📣
We have an opening for a general operative at our sawmill.
Daily tasks to a succesfull candiate would be :
Stacking timber off the production or the planing line.
Cleaning sawdust around yard.
Helping customers in the yard from time to time.
Hours: 7:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
Must have own transport to work, we are not located along a bus route. English is essential

Our bandsaw operator position is available at our mill.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate bandsaw , including controls, to process logs into specified timber sizes.

-Monitor equipment performance, making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

-Inspect logs/ length and finished products to meet quality standards.

-Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

-Collaborate with team members to meet targets.

-Working in a very fast paced environment
